Quabog Valley Dive Club   

The Pioneer Valley Dive Club will hold a meeting at the Palmer store In December, date to be announced.  All who want to start a dive club at the Palmer store are welcome to attend and meet the members of the club.  Even if you are not interested in starting a dive club at the Palmer store but are just interested in meeting other divers, looking for dive partners, etc. you are welcome to attend.  If there is enough interest I will try and get a speaker to come on that day.  We would like to know how many people we can draw.  There will be a sign-up sheet of interested people who want to attend, at the store.  This will help us to determine the level of interest.

What is the Dive Club about?

   A new dive club made up of divers like yourself is being organized.  We love SCUBA diving.  We range in experience from newly certified divers to advanced, to wreck and technical divers, to dive masters, to dive instructors.  If you are interested, have ideas or interests, mention it at SCUBA-1, or email me.  We will not be alone since the Pioneer Valley Dive Club, a sister club, will provide advice and help in organizing.

Where and when will we meet?

We will meet at SCUBA-1, a dive shop in the Palmer, MA.  SCUBA-1  supports our concept and will allow us the use of their store at 1022 Central Street, for regular meetings.  We expect to meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM.

How much will it cost to join?

The club dues will be about $20.00 a year.  This will entitle you to a Monthly E-mails, Family Events, Christmas Party, Weekend Dives.   Our boat charters will be discounted to members and the store offers Dive Club Members discounts on their purchases, 5% and 10%.

What will we do as a club?

Beginning in May, we expect to do weekend dives.  The dives range from lakes, ponds, quarries, and rivers, to ocean diving.  Boat charters to some of New England's best spots are arranged. When there is enough interest (always), trips to warmer waters.
